Position: Back-end Software Development Engineering - Engineer III

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Hybrid: 4 Days Work From Office)

Description:

• Develop and maintain back-end/server-side application components including APIs, databases, and business logic services.
• Utilize various languages and tools to create on-prem or cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to define use-cases and requirements.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using diverse tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies aligned with architecture guidelines.
• Develop back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages such as Java, Python, C# etc., alongside GCP and Spring Boot.
• Integrate user interface elements by collaborating with front-end developers, product owners, designers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage application deployment (cloud/on-prem), health monitoring, security hardening, disaster recovery, data storage/retrieval using Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB.
• Promote programming best practices including test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize infrastructure for resiliency and reliability while supporting user data security through encryption and anonymization.

Skills Required:

• GCP, Database Design, Spring Boot, Java, GitHub

Experience Required:

• Total 6+ years in IT with 4+ years specifically in development.
• Demonstrate practical experience in two coding languages or advanced proficiency in one language (Engineer III level).

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree required
