Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer with expertise in Python and the FastAPI framework to join our dynamic team. This full-time position, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, offers a competitive salary range of ₹5,00,000 to ₹7,00,000 annually. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and secure, scalable RESTful APIs. You will also be involved in building and managing WebSockets and microservices, along with optimizing database schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Proficiency in implementing authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices is essential, as is a focus on system performance, reliability, and scalability. We value clean, well-documented code with comprehensive unit and integration tests. Collaboration with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams within Agile sprints is a key aspect of this role. Support for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems is also required.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 5 years of backend development experience.
- Strong command of Python and the FastAPI framework.
- Proven experience in building and managing REST APIs, WebSockets, or gRPC services.
- In-depth knowledge of database design, query optimization, and ORM tools.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and scalable system design principles.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API lifecycle management.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment environments.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices including JWT, OAuth, and encryption.
- Experience working effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
