CODE CLAN is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with robust AWS expertise to join our expanding engineering team in India. This is a fully remote position, ideal for candidates located within India.

In this vital role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing secure, efficient, and scalable server-side logic. Your responsibilities will include building APIs and microservices to power front-end functionalities, establishing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, and ensuring data security through the integration of robust authentication mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement server-side logic with a strong focus on security, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop APIs and microservices to support front-end features.
• Set up and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement authentication mechanisms and ensure the highest standards of data security.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in key AWS services including AWS Platform, Docker Container Deployment, AWS Cognito Auth, S3, API Gateway, and EC2.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment; experience with AWS CDK is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• A minimum of 5 years of strong, hands-on experience in Python development.

Working Conditions:

This is a fully remote, full-time, contractual position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within India. Your working hours will be aligned with the Indian Standard Time (IST) zone.
