About the Role

ThinkNova is seeking a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our remote team. This structured internship offers fresh graduates practical exposure in server-side logic, database management, and API development for web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side application logic.
• Build and integrate APIs for frontend-backend communication.
• Manage databases for data storage, retrieval, update, and validation using SQL or NoSQL.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and input validation protocols.
• Test, debug, and optimize backend functionality for reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate application features.
• Document code, API endpoints, and technical approaches clearly.

Requirements

• Ideal for freshers interested in software engineering or related fields.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, PHP, Node.js).
• Familiarity with database concepts (SQL/NoSQL) is essential.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and Git version control is beneficial.
• Awareness of secure coding practices preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
