About the Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our global team and help build, scale, and optimize the backend infrastructure for millions of daily streaming sessions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, enhancing, and maintaining backend microservices using Node.js and Python for streaming, personalization, and content management.
• Designing and optimizing APIs for high throughput, low latency, and reliability at scale.
• Managing and scaling AWS cloud infrastructure, including Lambda, CloudFront, S3, RDS, MediaConvert, and SQS.
• Integrating AI/ML capabilities like LLMs, LangChain, HuggingFace models, and vision AI APIs for smart content tagging and personalized recommendations.
• Automating repetitive workflows for content ingestion, processing, and notifications.
• Building internal tools and dashboards to empower editorial and marketing teams.
• Troubleshooting performance issues, bottlenecks, and bugs in production systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of backend development experience with expertise in Node.js and Python.
• Proven experience managing and scaling production AWS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI-powered workflows, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging ability, and attention to detail.
• Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
