Back End Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Back End Developer (AS) in Pune, India, to join our dynamic Squad focused on renewing digital channels. You will play a pivotal role in Deutsche Bank's strategic projects, applying continuous integration tools and Agile practices to improve agility and reduce time-to-market without compromising quality.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust solutions using Java design patterns within an Agile Squad environment.
• Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, scrum ceremonies, and Dev chapter activities.
• Apply CI/CD best practices including SCM, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management.
• Collaborate with squad members to achieve Sprint objectives using tools like JIRA/Confluence.
• Manage individual task priorities and contribute to planning for continuous improvement.
• Serve as a support resource for Product Owners (PO), Analysts, and Scrum Masters.

Your Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework and enterprise architecture.
• Solid experience with web services (SOAP/REST APIs) and messaging platforms like JMS/MQ.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with application servers including Tomcat, WildFly, or equivalents.
• Demonstrated DevOps mindset with proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Camunda/BPM platforms is highly valued.
