Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment.
• Leverage Azure DevOps tools to automate and manage infrastructure provisioning.
• Maintain source control integrity using Git.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Proactively monitor and maintain application performance and availability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize deployment practices.
• Provide essential technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
• Ensure adherence to security and regulatory compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes and workflows.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to effective sprint planning.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize systems for enhanced scalability and performance.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and Azure.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members to ensure smooth integration.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Solid understanding of Azure DevOps services, features, and best practices.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and networking concepts.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Azure or DevOps certifications are considered a significant advantage.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or Grafana.
• Understanding of database management and cloud storage solutions.
• A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning of new technologies.
