Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This is an on-site permanent position focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps practices on the Azure platform.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Azure DevOps tools.
- Manage source control with Git, ensuring version integrity and efficient collaboration.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Monitor and maintain application performance, availability, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize and streamline deployment processes.
- Provide essential technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to security and regulatory compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and workflows.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize systems for enhanced scalability and performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and Azure.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- In-depth understanding of Azure DevOps services, features, and best practices.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and various automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, including PowerShell or Python.
- Solid knowledge of cloud architecture principles and networking concepts.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Azure or relevant DevOps certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Grafana.
- Understanding of database management systems and cloud storage solutions.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
