Azure DevOps Engineer

NielsenIQ is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer in Mumbai, India, to join their agile, co-located team. This role is crucial for realizing critical business goals through collaboration with fellow DevOps Engineers, Development teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily deployments to non-production and production environments, including the creation and maintenance of associated tools and processes.
• Configuring and managing Azure subscriptions, including access and structure.
• Designing and maintaining tools and systems for deployment and management.
• Ensuring service availability to meet agreed service level agreements.
• Provisioning and managing Azure-hosted virtual server estates.
• Scripting infrastructure as code and deployment steps.
• Supporting production releases of new features and products.
• Contributing to the evolution of build, deployment, and release management practices towards a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) model.
• Providing technical support for production and non-production environments.

Qualifications:

• Ability to automate system configuration and management using scripts and configuration management tools.
• 3-4 years of experience with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience with continuous delivery toolsets and frameworks such as Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Azure services, including virtual networking, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies (Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, Server 2019).
• Experience managing highly available production-facing e-commerce websites.
• Excellent English communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
