Azure Cloud Engineer (Freelancer) – Remote

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team of freelancers. This role is pivotal in supporting advanced AI evaluation projects focused on cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, scalability, and enterprise security.

Your Mission

In this position, you will critically evaluate AI-generated outputs regarding Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, AKS, SQL Database, and Identity Management. Your expertise ensures that AI systems designed for cloud computing are technically accurate, secure, scalable, and operationally feasible.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality deliverables addressing real-world Azure infrastructure scenarios.
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated deployment strategies and infrastructure recommendations.
• Assess outputs for security risks, architectural weaknesses, and operational inefficiencies.
• Review technical content involving containers (Docker/Kubernetes), monitoring tools, and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance AI performance in cloud engineering workflows.
• Maintain quality standards by reviewing peer-developed deliverables on migrations and governance strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of professional experience specifically in Azure Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Management.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, Storage, VNETs, AD, AKS, Monitor).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Excellent written English communication skills for providing precise technical feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments and cost optimization strategies.
• Background in AI/ML infrastructure support is a plus.
