Role Overview
We are seeking an AVP Full Stack Engineer (Band 5) for our Chennai office to lead the design, development, and delivery of secure enterprise applications. This role blends hands-on full-stack engineering with technical leadership across front-end, back-end, API, and data layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate individual contributor accountability for end-to-end solution delivery within a secure microservices environment using modern frameworks (React/Angular) with Java/Spring Boot or .NET/Node.js back-ends.
- Create high-level and low-level designs covering application, integration, data, security, resilience, and deployment considerations in cloud-native environments.
- Drive engineering quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps), observability, and performance optimization for scalable platforms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, translating priorities into well-governed technology solutions while ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 15+ years in enterprise-scale software engineering, including full-stack delivery. Proven expertise with APIs (REST), microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, containers, and production support.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
