Automation Testing

Join Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Pune, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad as an Automation Testing professional. This role involves the comprehensive design, development, and execution of automation scripts, primarily utilizing Selenium with C# and the Page Object Model (POM) framework. You will leverage your expertise in programming languages like Python and API automation to build robust testing solutions. A solid understanding of the entire testing lifecycle, from user story analysis through to closure and signoff, is essential. This position offers the opportunity to lead automation initiatives and mentor junior team members, fostering best practices within the team. You will manage and execute both functional and hybrid testing, adapting seamlessly between automation and manual testing as dictated by the scrum team's needs. Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient distributed testing is crucial. Working with Microsoft technologies and Azure Cloud will be integral to enhancing testing capabilities. Proficiency in DevOps tools such as GIT and Azure DevOps is required for streamlining development and testing workflows. Hands-on experience in API and database testing is a key requirement, as is the utilization of test management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) for effective test planning and execution. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product owners, and technical teams, is vital to ensure alignment and seamless integration of testing activities. A strong understanding of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Agile Scrum methodologies is expected, contributing to the team's success in a fast-paced environment.
