Automation Tester

About the Role

Infosys is seeking an Automation Tester with expertise in Java Selenium and Python. This hybrid role is available in Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end test cases for connected systems using Selenium-Python.
• Prepare and execute system integration testing scenarios.
• Conduct peer reviews of test objectives, scenarios, and automated scripts.
• Prepare requirement traceability matrices.
• Test web-based applications across different devices and browsers.
• Design, write, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, BSc, BCA, Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, MSc, MCA, Bachelor of Technology.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• BE/BTECH in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ Years strong Selenium with Python experience.
• 2 years of Python programming experience.
• Mobile App automation testing using APPIUM (nice to have).
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proven track record in automation testing and quality assurance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in the Medical Device industry or IOT is preferred.
