Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer, also known as a QA Engineer, to join our client, a dynamic software development firm. This role is based in Pune, Noida, and Bengaluru and offers significant growth potential for passionate quality engineering professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks.
• Create and execute comprehensive test cases for both web and mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough API testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure prompt resolution of quality issues.
• Actively participate in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for test automation.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Understanding of CI/CD integration principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience utilizing bug tracking systems like JIRA.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
• Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.
