Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer, also known as a QA Engineer, for a leading client, a thriving software company. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks.
• Write and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile platforms.
• Conduct thorough API testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Actively participate in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies to ensure seamless project progression.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for building automated test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and integration with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience utilizing bug tracking systems, particularly JIRA.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Appium for mobile application test automation.
• Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter.
• Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.
