- Relevant years of experience in software testing with a focus on web automation testing.
- Hands-on expertise required for Selenium WebDriver and Playwright frameworks used in automating web applications.
- Strong programming proficiency in Java is essential, particularly within the context of developing custom automation test frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain robust automation frameworks utilizing tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, Page Object Model (POM), JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and Git for version control.
- Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and adherence to SDLC/STLC best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Skillset in API testing utilizing industry-standard tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Swagger for validating backend services.
- Proficiency with defect tracking systems like JIRA or Azure Boards is necessary for effective issue management.
- Proven track record in cross-browser compatibility testing, regression cycles, functional verification, and end-to-end automation scenarios.
- Aptitude to design, execute, and maintain scalable automated test suites that adapt to growing project needs.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities combined with strong troubleshooting techniques and clear communication skills for collaborating across teams.
