Automation Engineer

Role: Automation Engineer (PLC Programmer)

Location: PAN India Site

SFC is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to develop and implement PLC–SCADA–HMI programs, support onsite commissioning, troubleshoot automation issues, and ensure reliable plant operation across project sites in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust logic design, interlocks, and functional sequencing using platforms such as TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Studio 5000, GX Works, WinCC, FTView, and Iconics.
• Execute PLC–SCADA–HMI commissioning across project sites in Navi Mumbai and beyond. Perform I/O loop checks, instrument calibration, MCC wiring verification, and validate automation logic for smooth plant start-up.
• Maintain program backups, test reports, version control, and review documentation including I/O lists, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
• Coordinate with PLC–SCADA vendors for software/hardware support. Review technical offers and data sheets to update automation logic based on site inputs.
• Troubleshoot PLC/SCADA issues, support installation and panel integration, validate performance, and coordinate training and handover with internal teams and clients.

Requirements:

Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and plant commissioning.
