About This Opportunity
Ericsson is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to automate tasks within managed service delivery for our clients. This role involves working with approved requirements and high-level design documentation to deliver automation solutions that meet specific functionality and performance targets, aligning with overall project needs and customer expectations.
What You Will Do
- Participate in solution design, development, and integration
- Engage in problem-solving and critical thinking
- Focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Clearly document and share knowledge about owned automation applications, including code, architecture, credentials, and security parameters with relevant partners
- Proactively communicate updates to affected partners regarding any changes or new factors impacting designed or deployed automation applications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on Python development experience
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Working knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
