We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with significant Java expertise to contribute to our operations in Noida, India. This role requires 1-3 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on Java development, to design, implement, and optimize automation solutions for enhanced network management and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions using Ericsson Enable to streamline network operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve system efficiency.
- Integrate automation solutions with existing network management systems, ensuring seamless operation within the infrastructure.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of automation scripts and solutions to guarantee performance standards and reliability.
- Provide technical support for automation-related issues, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, scripts, and configurations, and prepare performance impact reports.
- Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and best practices, proposing and implementing process optimizations.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in automation engineering, with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on Java experience.
- Proficiency in Java programming, web technologies, and development on UNIX/Linux platforms. Experience with Java, Groovy, JavaScript, extjs, Multithreading, and JIRA is essential.
- Expertise in using Ericsson Enable, including configuration, scripting, and automation.
- Familiarity with RDBMS, preferably SQL, is desirable.
- A strong understanding of packet networking; development experience in this area is a significant advantage.
- Solid grasp of network management and automation principles; knowledge of Ericsson's product portfolio and network infrastructure is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
