In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our customers from email-borne threats and data leaks. As an Associate Threat Analyst, you will join a specialized team focused on identifying and neutralizing malicious traffic and content targeting our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze threat intelligence data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, recommending updates to threat detection systems.
• Prepare and deliver basic analytical reports under guidance.
• Collaborate with team members to refine threat definitions using data from the threat platform.
• Handle and resolve customer cases related to potential threats promptly and accurately.
• Investigate customer-reported issues, including email security concerns and suspicious activities, providing actionable resolutions.
• Communicate technical details clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Identify sophisticated attacks, analyze their behavior, and contribute to threat intelligence through blog articles.
• Foster a supportive and productive team environment.
• Be flexible to work in a shift-based schedule.

Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of email threats (Spam, Phishing, Scams, Spear Phishing).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and email protocols (SMTP, DNS, HTTP).
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.
• Experience with SQL and Regular Expressions.
• Good understanding of GitHub repositories and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical skills for addressing technical issues.
• Exposure to machine learning concepts is a plus.
