Associate Tech Specialist

We are seeking an Associate Technical Specialist with senior-level backend expertise to help build and scale our production REST API. Our stack includes Ruby/Rails but we welcome experience in Django, Laravel, NestJS, or Spring.
Role Overview:
- Senior-level backend development maintaining ORM-backed REST APIs
- PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization for data integrity
- Designing background job processing systems with idempotency (Sidekiq/SQS/Celery/Bull)
- Implementing authentication & authorization via token-based/OAuth flows

Required Skills:

• Rails/Ruby or equivalent framework experience (Django/Laravel/NestJS/Spring)
• PostgreSQL proficiency in production environments
  - Experience with background job processing tools
  - OAuth/authentication implementation knowledge
• Familiarity with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and external system integrations (Salesforce preferred)

Nice to Have:

• Rails/Ruby experience
  - Salesforce sync patterns (SOQL, polling)
  - AWS services familiarity
  - Docker Compose and feature flag systems
