CORE ENGINEERING SKILLS

• 4+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience with strong backend engineering expertise.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and problem-solving skills.
• Java 17+: concurrency, multithreading, collections, JVM internals, performance tuning, and functional programming.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, reusable components, client-side routing, and state management.
• End-to-end delivery across UI, API integration, backend services, databases, error handling, and production support.
• Microservices design covering decomposition, resilience, scalability, observability, and clean architecture.
• OOAD, design patterns, SOLID principles, secure coding, and common web application security controls.

DATA & TESTING

• Relational databases, data modelling, SQL tuning, indexing, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting.
• TDD/BDD and automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test, Karate or Cucumber, Jest, and React Testing Library.

FRONTEND QUALITY & INTEGRATION

• Frontend architecture, modular design, browser compatibility, accessibility, secure API integration, and performance optimization.
• Authentication and authorization, input validation, token/session management, and secure frontend-to-backend communication.

DEVOPS, CLOUD & OPERATIONS

• Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, npm/yarn, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and JIRA.
• Docker and Kubernetes; experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native development is preferred.
• ELK or similar observability tooling, automation, scripting, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across the full stack.

AI-ASSISTED ENGINEERING

• Experience with GenAI development tools such as Gemini CLI and Claude Code/Claude CLI.
• Use AI for code generation/refactoring, React and Java development, unit tests, API documentation, code reviews, debugging, and optimization.
• Apply responsible AI practices: validate generated code, perform security/compliance reviews, maintain quality and governance, and use effective prompting.

PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITIES

• Adaptable and effective in fast-paced environments with evolving business and technology requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with distributed engineering, product, architecture, and business teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Banking, Payments, FinTech, or high-volume transaction system experience.
• Enterprise-scale React and Java/Spring Boot delivery, API-first design, event-driven systems, reusable UI libraries, or developer productivity platforms.
