In this role within Payments Technology, you will help define the high-level technical architecture for solutions delivering great business outcomes aligned with long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across platform and domain teams to support solution delivery throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Evaluate implementation alternatives, validate technology assumptions, and assist in producing feature designs for incremental customer value.
• Analyze technical design issues to drive resolution through iterative improvements of architectural solutions.
• Shape requirements and work with engineers/architecture disciplines spanning payments domains.
• Promote adaptive design practices fostering collaboration around a common technical vision using continuous feedback loops.
• Evaluate potential impacts on existing and prospective customers by leveraging industry trends, best practices, and analytical thinking.

Required Skills & Experience

You should bring foundational knowledge of application, business, data, or infrastructure architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams is essential.

• Proven track record defining application architectures and roadmaps for complex multi-layer technical solutions.
• Background delivering secure solutions spanning complex infrastructure domains.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying Microservices-based architectures.
• Strong expertise in Kafka and event-driven system design patterns.
• Broad knowledge encompassing hardware, software, application engineering, and systems integration.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, architecture patterns, and multi-cloud environments (including Google Cloud Platform).
• Exceptional communication skills capable of translating complex technical concepts for peers and leadership stakeholders.
