Associate Software Engineer

Join our dynamic team as an Associate Software Engineer specializing in Java and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in Pune. In this permanent role, you will be instrumental in analyzing and resolving customer issues, meticulously documenting solutions, and establishing best practices. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and customer service to ensure seamless issue resolution and actively contribute to product enhancements. This position involves responding to technical assistance requests and participating in support projects, with approximately 30% dedicated to development tasks. You will also be part of a rotational 24/7 support schedule. We operate on a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office.

Your responsibilities will encompass the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. You will be expected to write clean, well-documented code that adheres to standards, including the use of pseudo-code and unit testing. Delivering error-free, thoroughly tested code and promptly addressing bug reports are key. You will conduct system-wide tests, monitor performance, and provide technical support. The role also involves developing modular solutions, configuring and installing software components, and maintaining ERP/SAP-MES integration with comprehensive installation guides.
