Associate Software Engineer

Role Overview

WorkNation.buzz is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our remote engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior developers to architect, build, and scale backend services and APIs. You will play a vital part in maintaining our high-availability platform, ensuring code quality, and participating in an agile development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features and system improvements.
• Perform debugging, code reviews, and technical documentation to ensure long-term system reliability.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to solve complex engineering challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in modern development languages (e.g., Node.js) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js).
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to thrive in a distributed, remote work environment.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is considered a distinct advantage.
