Associate Software Engineer

What You Will Do

You will report to the Lead/Tech Lead (Full Stack) within Global Technology and Operations. Partnering with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals, you will improve Financial Accounting Platforms by coding, testing, debugging applications, and deploying innovative products.

• Build high-quality, efficient code adhering to modern design patterns and Prudential standards.
• Collaborate with product owners on feature stories and tech leads on technical designs to deliver robust business solutions.
• Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation scripts.
• Leverage emerging technologies like agentic AI concepts for autonomous agent implementation.

What You Will Bring

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 0–2 years of experience working with AWS, Python, Java, and Finance technology. Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency in Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript; Frameworks: React, Spring Boot, Node.js;
• Data Store experience with NoSQL or Relational structures.
• Skill in REST APIs, JSON, XML, JDBC, SQL.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools including secure coding and authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth 2.0).
