Associate Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer (Global Technology and Operations) to join our team at PFI Innovation Centre India in Gurgaon. You will collaborate directly with Lead Engineers, Product Owners, Designers, and Delivery Professionals to improve Financial Accounting Platforms.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Coding & Development: Build high-quality, efficient applications using modern design patterns (Python, Java, JavaScript/React/Springboot) adhering to industry standards and Prudential guidelines.
  Tech Stack: AWS, Python, Java, React, Spring Boot, Node.js.
• Innovation: Actively apply emerging Agentic AI concepts to design autonomous agents that enhance business outcomes.
  Test and debug new features through unit, integration testing (TDD), and functional automation tools.
• Collaboration: Define feature stories with product owners and technical designs with tech leads to deliver robust solutions impacting the bottom line.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field + 0–2 years of experience. Proficiency in distributed systems, object-oriented programming (OOP), microservices architecture, and multi-threading.
Strong understanding of SOA patterns, REST APIs (JSON/XML), SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub), AWS Core Services (CloudWatch, CodeDeploy), and DevSecOps practices.
