Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for our Quality Engineering team. This is a code-first engineering role focused on automation, reliability, and production safety—not manual testing or documentation only.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build automated API smoke and regression tests for backend services using Playwright and mobile automation technologies.
• Maintain test data setup and environment stability within GitLab CI pipelines.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and reports to troubleshoot flaky or failing test failures across environments.
• Create actionable bug reports with clear reproduction steps and technical details.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Software Engineering, SRE, and DevOps teams on quality issues.

Tech & Tools:

You will utilize a code-first mindset to work with Java/TypeScript. This role emphasizes using AI-assisted tools like Claude for test discovery, debugging, failure triage, and documentation—while maintaining strict validation of all outputs before deployment.
