Associate Senior DevOps Engineer

Join Global Payments as an Associate Senior DevOps Engineer in Pune, India, and play a crucial role in our dynamic team. This position combines software development and IT operations to accelerate the systems delivery lifecycle and establish a continuous delivery platform, complementing Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the tooling and infrastructure essential for automating release, deployment, and upgrade processes, ensuring high-velocity, continuous delivery through software provisioning, configuration management, source code management, and team collaboration applications.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions.
• Enhance security and compliance across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Improve system reliability through automation and observability.
• Maintain and evolve container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker Warm.
• Implement, maintain, and improve platforms, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities using various tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT with expertise in complex technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
