About the Role
As an Associate Scrum Master at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in facilitating agile methodologies and ensuring the successful delivery of software projects. You will empower development teams, manage project timelines, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in Scrum management and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
- Leverage strong hands-on experience in Software Development/Testing and Planning.
- Possess 8 years of total experience with at least 4 years specifically as a Scrum Master.
- Excel in stakeholder management and possess excellent communication skills.
- Utilize office tools such as RTC and JIRA.
- Verify deliverables and ensure adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Effectively manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide excellent communication and servant leadership, driving effective project status reporting and metrics.
- Establish and manage multiple project/scrum teams concurrently.
- Set up sprint reporting and monitoring mechanisms.
- Drive retrospectives to foster continuous team performance improvement.
- Establish processes for timely, high-quality software delivery.
- Analyze project matrices and take appropriate actions.
- Manage risks and issues effectively, including escalation handling.
- Manage multiple global stakeholders.
- Prepare documentation according to required standards.
- Collaborate closely with international team members.
- Suggest and drive initiatives for process, approach, product, and tool improvements.
- Lead development teams technically, taking responsibility for overall design and delivery within scope, timeline, and quality constraints, adhering to Scrum principles.
Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years of experience in the Software Industry, with a focus on managing Agile Projects using Scrum methodologies.
- Certified Scrum Master.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronic and Tele-Communication.
- Expertise in Agile and Lean ways of working at program/enterprise level.
- Experience with RTC or JIRA.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in coaching and training individuals and teams in agile principles and practices.
- Background working directly in a technology role or demonstrated ability to understand technology functions in product development.
- Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative work across diverse nationalities.
