Role:

We are seeking an Associate Test Engineer (Associate QA Software Testing Engineer) to ensure the quality of our Quoting software products. You will design, develop, and execute functional test scripts for web-based applications using best practices in automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria; collaborate with IT Application Delivery on effective testing strategies.
• Create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Develop automation scripts using Java - Selenium and Cucumber BDD framework (TESTNG).
• Built frameworks for regression, functional, and performance testing of web applications.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Maven & Jenkins or Azure DevOps/Git Hub Actions.
• Execute parallel runs under guidance; participate in Scrum activities as an Agile team member.
• Report defects accurately; coordinate for resolution with engineering resources.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 1-3 years of professional QA experience, preferably as a QA Analyst.
• Hands-on Java-Selenium automation (Cucumber/TESTNG).
• Familiarity with Playwright using TypeScript is an advantage.
• Agile methodology experience within Scrum teams.
• Coding proficiency and exposure to Cursor AI/Copilot tools are preferred advantages.
