Associate Product Manager

About the Role

As an Associate Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with senior product managers and stakeholders to shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Identity and Access Management (IAM) features. Your focus will be on critical areas such as authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Federation.

• Assist in prioritizing product features by analyzing customer needs, market trends, security requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Define product requirements, user stories, and success criteria for new features and enhancements within IAM, MFA, and Identity Federation.
• Work in tandem with cross-product engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product features that meet high-quality standards.
• Monitor and track product development progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and scope.
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams (engineering, security) and business teams (marketing, sales, customer support) to align product features with customer and business objectives.
• Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to drive product decisions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure product compliance with relevant security and compliance standards, contributing to the development of secure, robust, and scalable IAM solutions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive workflows and interfaces for identity management, prioritizing ease of use without compromising security.
• Assist in developing product documentation, training materials, and support resources for both internal and external audiences.
• Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to support marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of product management experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related security technologies, with a significant emphasis on Authentication and Directory Services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD).
• Proficiency and practical experience with Authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, SCIM, and FIDO.
• Familiarity with leading identity management platforms like Okta, Ping Identity, or Azure AD is considered a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working with cloud-based IAM solutions, user authentication, and access control mechanisms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Capability to produce clear and concise product documentation, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively across different teams and managing relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of security best practices, encryption, and secure authentication methods.
