Saviynt is seeking an Associate Principal Solutions Engineer to join its dynamic Sales organization. This role involves collaborating with Sales Directors and Regional VPs to sell Saviynt's integrated suite of Access Governance and Cloud Security solutions to new and existing clients across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of vendor solutions, industry best practices, and technology integration, demonstrating expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions for complex customer engagements.

Key responsibilities include conducting detailed technical discovery, responding to RFPs, and delivering Proofs of Concept (POCs). This position also contributes to Product Marketing by developing white papers, solution briefs, webinars, and blogs. The Associate Principal Solutions Engineer will work proactively and independently to drive opportunities to closure and impact revenue.

This role will also involve mentoring and coaching Solutions Engineers on sales strategy, customer influence, scope management, and technical presentation execution. Up to 60% travel across India is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations showcasing enterprise solutions, ease-of-configuration, architectural simplicity, and workflow intelligence.
• Effectively communicate solution value to both business and technical audiences, addressing prospective customer requirements and inquiries.
• Provide needs assessment, consultation, technical solutions, and customer support in collaboration with the Saviynt team.
• Collaborate with sales and global bid teams to respond to RFx inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist the global bid team and product management in curating RFx responses.
• Proactively manage top regional opportunities with sales directors and management, driving them to successful closure.
• Provide regular solution feedback and competitive intelligence from the field to Saviynt's product management, solutions strategy, and marketing teams.
• Onboard and coach Solutions Engineers on solution demonstrations, RFP responses, technical overviews, and POC execution.

Qualifications

• Domain expertise in Privilege Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Application GRC, and/or Cloud Security.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of Solutions Engineering experience with a proven track record in Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management, Application GRC, and/or Identity Governance and Administration solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent knowledge demonstrated through technical certifications (e.g., ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer).
• Superior communication, relationship building, and customer service skills, with the ability to quickly assess needs and sell solutions to sophisticated customers.
• Proven ability to own and manage technical team relationships within existing and prospective opportunities.
• Self-sufficient with a high degree of autonomy and a passion for working in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
• Exemplary technical skills for field configuration and rapid problem-solving, including:
• Experience in Identity Governance and Administration with a strong understanding of Identity Life Cycle Management, Entitlements Management, Access Request, Workflow, Policy and Role Management, Access Certification, Audit, Reporting/Analytics, and Deployment Scenarios.
• Database query experience in a relational database environment (MySQL and Elastic Search).
• Proficiency with REST API, PowerShell, and GraphAPI.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth/2, SCIM, OpenID, WS-Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, SPML, Kerberos, REST, JSON, for Single Sign On (SSO) and ID federation.
• Understanding of data governance concepts and compliance regulations like GDPR & CCPA.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and security frameworks such as SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, Cobit, CIS, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, PCI.
• Experience with identity management platforms including AzureAD, Okta, JumpCloud, OneLogin, PingDirectory, Active Directory, eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, Radiant Logic, and other Cloud/LDAP/Virtual directories.
• Basic understanding of networking technologies including HTTP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption.
• Exemplary communication and relationship skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
• Strong skills in creating business and technical documents (e.g., scope definition, proposals, architecture and network diagrams).
