Associate Operations Manager - Training in Chennai
R1 RCM is seeking an Associate Operations Manager specializing in Training to join our team in Chennai. This role is pivotal in developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance operational efficiency and employee expertise within the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine training programs and materials for various healthcare RCM roles, including billing specialists, denials management, AR follow-up, and complex claims processing.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content is accurate, relevant to current industry standards, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and execute training schedules to ensure the timely onboarding of new hires and continuous professional development for existing staff.
- Conduct engaging training sessions utilizing diverse formats such as classroom instruction, webinars, e-learning modules, and workshops to accommodate various learning styles.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to training staff, offering guidance on instructional techniques, content creation, and effective delivery methods.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in healthcare technology that influence RCM processes, integrating this knowledge into training curricula.
- Partner with Human Resources, operational leaders, and quality points of contact to identify training needs, support succession planning, and define career development pathways within the organization.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory mandates.
- Oversee the onboarding of new clients, ensuring all related training activities, including Training SOPs, certification processes, and process maps, are completed within established timelines.
- Possess an in-depth, proficient understanding of denials, AR follow-ups, and exposure to appeals within the healthcare RCM context.
Required Skills:
- Training and Development: Expertise in Training Program Design, Training Delivery, Curriculum Development, Assessment and Evaluation, Coaching and Feedback, and Question Bank Creation.
- Leadership and Management: Proficient in Team Leadership, Delegation, Conflict Resolution, Decision Making, and Time Management.
- Communication: Strong abilities in Effective Communication and Active Listening.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Skilled in Data Analysis, Project Management, and Conflict Management.

- Process Transition: Experience and awareness of new process transitions and client onboarding.
- Content Development: Proven experience designing and delivering effective training using instructional design methodologies. Familiarity with applications like Articulate, Storyboarding, and Captivate is essential.
