This role is pivotal in developing scalable, production-grade analytics solutions for various therapeutic and domain areas, including Oncology, Vaccines, Pharma & Rare Disease, and market access.

You will focus on translating complex business questions into analytical challenges, leveraging your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to drive critical business decisions. Collaborating with seasoned data scientists and business analysts, you'll work end-to-end on analytical projects, from data interpretation to model deployment.

We are particularly interested in candidates with prior experience in healthcare analytics or consulting, and a proven track record in building end-to-end machine learning models. Familiarity with Physician and Patient-Level Data (PLD) from key vendors like IQVIA, Komodo, and Optum is highly valued. Expertise in HCP Analytics, PLD analytics, and concepts such as persistence, compliance, and line of therapy are advantageous.

• You possess a strong understanding of statistical and machine learning principles, with experience in high-performance computing/cloud environments, covering statistical analysis, machine learning, model development, data engineering, data visualization, and data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate business requirements into analytical problem statements, supporting the manager in this process.
• Independently implement solution steps using SQL/Python and appropriate ML techniques.
• Adhere to technical requirements, business rules, technical architecture, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
• Present findings clearly and concisely to US DS stakeholders, incorporating feedback.
• Cultivate a continuous learning mindset, both technically and functionally.
• Develop deep expertise in specific therapeutic areas, with a focus on commercial aspects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 1-3 years of industry experience (experience may be waived for exceptional candidates).
• Strong proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and Excel.
• Solid foundations in statistics and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in STEM (MS, MBA, PhD).
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare analytics and consulting.
• Familiarity with Physician and Patient-Level Data (e.g., claims, EHRs) and data from vendors like IQVIA, Optum, Komodo.
• Experience in HCP & Patient Level Data analytics (e.g., Segmentation & targeting, Patient Cohorts, Lines of Therapy, Persistency, Compliance).
• Proficiency in Data Science concepts, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Dataiku.
