Full Job Description
Mitel is seeking an Associate IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing essential IT support to Mitel employees, ensuring a seamless and productive work environment. You will engage with staff through phone, email, and in-person interactions, with a primary focus on achieving customer satisfaction in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assistance for requests related to all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
- Deliver general desktop and laptop support, including software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose equipment failures and contribute to their resolution.
- Support users with network and service access issues.
- Manage requests for additional system access.
- Conduct troubleshooting and fault investigation across the entire IT infrastructure.
- Assist with the onboarding and departure processes for staff, including equipment and account setup/termination.
- Participate in initiatives to enhance Mitel's IT environment, such as equipment replacement and software/patch rollouts.
- Contribute to the development of the Mitel IT knowledge base and IT help information.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Proven experience interacting with international/global customers.
- Excellent professional demeanor and phone presence.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues under pressure and adapt to change.
- Capacity to quickly learn new technical concepts and terminologies.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night and weekend shifts (covering APAC, EMEA & AMER time zones).
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient understanding of the Windows desktop environment.
- Good understanding of the Mac desktop environment.
- Good understanding of Windows Server back-end infrastructure (e.g., Domain, Active Directory).
- Good understanding of IP network infrastructure and configuration (e.g., DNS, DHCP).
- Good understanding of IT security principles and tools (e.g., firewalls, virus checking, DMZs, VPNs).
