Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Monitor network activity for anomalies and investigate security incidents.
• Support security audits and risk assessment processes.
• Install and maintain critical security software, including firewalls and encryption tools.
• Conduct post-incident analysis to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement secure system architectures.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
• Conduct security awareness training for staff.
• Advise on security requirements for new projects and initiatives.
• Identify user access needs and detect potential security threats or violations.
• Participate in vendor risk assessments, including data privacy and contract reviews.
• Contribute to the creation of plans for protecting digital data integrity and confidentiality.
• Review security violations, conduct follow-up training, and implement preventative measures.
• Enhance the risk management framework through assessments, audits, and testing.
• Manage anti-virus updates based on real-time threat intelligence.
• Perform other assigned security-related duties.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in computer systems, with a preference for security-focused roles. Prior experience in cybersecurity or information security is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficient understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST. Familiarity with various security tools and technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are advantageous. Experience in incident response and forensic analysis. Familiarity with cloud security and emerging technologies is a plus.
