Join the BCN Data business and expand our science capability area as part of the PIT (PEG Innovation Team). This role supports the Beta production of AI applications for PEG (Private Equity Group) as part of Bain’s DD2030 (Due Diligence 2030) initiative. A significant focus will be on Generative AI applications, driving innovation within the private equity sector. You may also contribute to broader PIT automation initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency across the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications across a robust technology stack.
• Build, test, install, and maintain databases and backends for software products.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of acceptance testing and new software implementation, providing customer support.
• Develop secure and high-performance services and APIs.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies, including open-source frameworks and libraries.
• Ensure code maintainability and quality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in database development on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), including environment creation and management.
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, query performance tuning, and index maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for application integration.
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing principles.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Docker, containerization) is a plus.
• Motivated, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and drive them to completion under tight deadlines.
