Associate

Scoutit is seeking enthusiastic Associate Frontend Developers to join our team in Bengaluru North, Karnataka, India. This role is for one of Scoutit's clients.

About the Role:

As an Associate Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in building data-driven, responsive, and performant user interfaces that streamline user interaction with complex data and analytical frameworks. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate mockups into production-ready code and partner with data scientists when necessary. Your responsibilities will include integrating front-end components with Python-based back-ends and RESTful APIs, contributing to the evolution of internal products and tools using modern frameworks, and maintaining high code quality through reviews and adherence to component-driven architecture. You will also focus on continuously improving user experience by optimizing for cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices, and actively participating in an Agile delivery process within a cross-functional team. Strong problem-solving skills, team collaboration, and a proactive learning attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, performant, and intuitive user interfaces for data-driven applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data scientists to translate designs into code.
• Integrate front-end components with Python-based back-ends and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal products and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold component-driven architecture principles.
• Optimize applications for cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with React.js (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular.
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Django) and handling asynchronous data.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git for version control in collaborative environments.
• Exposure to component-driven development (e.g., Storybook) and design handoff tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with automated testing and debugging best practices is beneficial.
