Scoutit is seeking Associate Frontend Developers for a role based in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India, to build data-driven interfaces. You will develop responsive, performant, and intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex data and analytical frameworks. Responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to translate mockups into production code and working with data scientists when needed.

Key tasks involve integrating APIs and back-end systems by building front-end components that interface seamlessly with Python-based back-ends and RESTful APIs. You will also contribute to the evolution of internal products and tools using modern frameworks, emphasizing maintainability, performance, and scalability.

Maintaining code quality and adhering to best practices are essential. This includes participating in code reviews, following a component-driven architecture, and ensuring reusable code across the UI stack. Continuous improvement of the user experience through optimization for cross-browser performance, accessibility, and responsiveness is expected. You will engage in Agile delivery within a cross-functional team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and collaborative iteration. Strong problem-solving skills, team collaboration, and a proactive learning attitude are vital.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) is required. Experience with React.js (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular for building interactive UIs, along with familiarity with state management tools like Redux or Context API, is expected. Comfort with integrating RESTful APIs (developed in FastAPI, Django) and handling asynchronous data fetching is necessary. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and web performance optimization is also important. Version control using Git in collaborative environments (e.g., GitHub) and exposure to component-driven development with tools like Storybook or design handoff tools like Figma are beneficial. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with daily collaboration and regular iterations is required. Familiarity with automated testing and debugging best practices is a plus.
