Associate Engineer

What you will do:

• Maintain and manage Telco cloud network infrastructure, specifically NFVI & SDN solutions from Ericsson.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network operations.
• Provide comprehensive technical support to customers, addressing and resolving network-related issues.
• Gain familiarity with network virtualization platforms such as OpenStack and Kubernetes (Redhat/Mirantis).
• Develop knowledge of Hyperscale Cloud Hardware Platforms, including Ericsson HDS8000 & BSP8100, Dell, and HPE.
• Acquire good working knowledge of Cloud Storage Products like Nexenta, ScaleIO, and Ceph.
• Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools including Zabbix, ZenOSS, and Nagios Log Server.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible to automate network management tasks.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and collaborate to enhance overall team capabilities.
• Strengthen skills with core Network Technologies encompassing Switches, Routers, and Load Balancers.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot SDN solutions, with a focus on Pluribus Networks | Ericsson SDN (ODL).
• Continuously stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in NFVI SDN.

The skills you bring:

• Possess a Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of experience specifically with Ericsson NFVI SDN.
• Exhibit a strong Networking Background with knowledge of Cisco and Juniper Switches and Routers.
• Showcase knowledge of Network Products such as Load Balancers (F5, A10) and Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, FortiGate & A10).
• Possess good working knowledge of Pluribus Networks | Ericsson SDN (ODL).
• Be familiar with OpenStack/Kubernetes environments (Redhat, Mirantis).
• Demonstrate knowledge of monitoring tools like Zabbix, ZenOSS, and Nagios Log Server.
• Possess scripting knowledge through Bash, Python, and Ansible.
