The Digital and Technology team is General Mills' leading unit, focused on exploring and adopting the latest technological trends and innovations. We collaborate with global business teams to understand business models and leverage technology for efficiency and disruption. Purpose of the role
The Digital and Technology team at General Mills India Centre seeks a passionate individual to contribute to the Cyber Security Program. Reporting to the Assistant D&T Manager - Cyber Security, Third Party Risk in India, this role will collaborate with global Third Party Security Risk Assessment and Cyber Risk teams. As an Individual Contributor, you will perform security risk assessments within the General Mills Third Party Security program, manage third-party relationships, and gather data to assess their security posture.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the General Mills Vendor TPSRA process.
- Create and execute third-party security assessments.
- Follow up with third parties on assessment-related questions and comments.
- Report and communicate assessment results and recommendations.
- Track and support remediation activities for identified vendor security gaps.
- Periodically reassess critical vendors.
- Escalate security issues as appropriate.
- Provide support for audit inquiries.
- Validate third-party security controls for compliance with General Mills policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Full-time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory).
- 1 year of experience in Cyber Security Risk Assessment, IT Audit, or ITGC controls.
- Basic understanding of the Cyber Security domain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to take direction, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects/tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong auditing skills.
- Knowledge of standards such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Compliance.
