Associate DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Associate DevOps Engineer (Grade 2) to join our dynamic team in Gurugram, India. This role is crucial for supporting our DevOps team in automating, streamlining, and enhancing development and deployment pipelines. You will gain hands-on experience in managing infrastructure, automating software deployments, and contributing to our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. The position also involves assisting with system monitoring, incident response, and leveraging cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Help manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring scalability and high performance.
• Support the automation of routine system administration tasks, including patching, backups, and scaling operations.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to facilitate smooth deployments and implement effective rollback strategies.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for infrastructure and software deployment-related issues.
• Contribute to enhancing the security and performance of our IT infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 1-3 years of foundational experience in DevOps or a closely related domain.
• A solid understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git and experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a strong eagerness to learn and grow in the DevOps field.
