About the Role

We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to join our Consumer Products AI team in Gurugram, India. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support our advanced analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application and data platform deployment.
• Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for system reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across various environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to optimize development workflows and system performance.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and best practices.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Support release and environment management across multiple projects.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, system architecture, and security best practices.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Excellent coding skills with a focus on modular, reusable, and functional code.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Consumer Products Center of Expertise (CP CoE), collaborating with global Consumer Products Practice leadership, client-facing Bain leadership, and end clients. The CP CoE develops and delivers proprietary CP products and solutions addressing strategic client questions in areas like brand strategy, revenue growth management, negotiation strategy, and COGS optimization. You will work within a dynamic team of Directors, Managers, Project Leads, Associates, and Analysts implementing cloud-based, end-to-end advanced analytics solutions.
