Associate Developer - Digital Technology
Lennox is seeking an Associate Developer with 1-3 years of experience in Digital Technologies. This role is perfect for an early-career professional with a strong foundation in .NET development, Microsoft Azure, and API integration. You will contribute to building scalable digital solutions, embracing modern cloud-native practices, and developing high-quality enterprise applications in Chennai, India.
Working closely with senior engineers, product teams, and QA, you will design, develop, support, and enhance digital applications that align with key business objectives. This is a permanent position offering a supportive environment for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
- Build and consume REST APIs to support system-to-system integrations.
- Utilize Azure services including App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, and monitoring tools.
- Engage in all phases of the application development lifecycle: design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot production and lower-environment issues under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams: business analysts, QA, DevOps, and architects.
- Adhere to coding standards, secure development practices, and performance optimization guidelines.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and release activities within Azure environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation, design notes, and API specifications.
- Continuously enhance skills in cloud technologies, APIs, and modern engineering practices.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in software development or digital engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, authentication, and integration patterns.
- Exposure to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based source control.
- Basic understanding of SQL Server and database concepts.
- Familiarity with debugging, logging, and application monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ-900, AZ-204, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Experience with event-driven integrations and messaging systems.
- Understanding of application support and operations processes.
- Knowledge of secure API practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT, API gateways).
