Associate Developer

Lennox India Technology Centre in Chennai is seeking an Associate Developer specializing in Digital Technology. This Level 1 Engineer role requires 1-3 years of experience in .NET development, Microsoft Azure, and API integration. You will collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to design, develop, and enhance digital applications aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
• Build and consume REST APIs, supporting system-to-system integrations.
• Utilize Azure services including App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
• Engage in all phases of the application development lifecycle: design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and support.
• Troubleshoot production and lower-environment issues under guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: business analysts, QA, DevOps, and architects.
• Adhere to coding standards, secure development practices, and performance optimization guidelines.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release activities in Azure environments.
• Contribute to documentation, technical design notes, and API specifications.
• Continuously enhance skills in cloud, APIs, and modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software development/digital engineering experience.
• Proficient in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, authentication, and integration patterns.
• Experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Basic understanding of SQL Server and database concepts.
• Familiarity with debugging, logging, and application monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ-900, AZ-204, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven integrations and messaging systems.
• Understanding of application support and operations processes.
• Knowledge of secure API practices (OAuth, JWT, API gateways).
