Associate Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to cloud migration initiatives and the modernization of existing data systems.
• Support data systems handling hundreds of millions of real-time events per day.
• Maintain and develop early warning and analytics systems using advanced big data technologies.
• Collaborate on building software for data collection and querying, and compose queries for investigative purposes.
• Analyze data to provide recommendations for improving product performance and customer acquisition.
• Ensure consistent and accurate communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within the data infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• A minimum of 2 years of Data Engineering experience, with proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience in writing and analyzing SQL constructs.
• Basic understanding of Big Data solutions like Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and VisualCron.
• Familiarity with strategies including indexing, machine-learned rankings, clustering, and distributed concepts.
