Who You Will Work With

Bain & Company is a leading consulting partner for the private equity industry and its stakeholders. The Private Equity Group (PEG) at Bain offers end-to-end advisory services for investors throughout the investment lifecycle, covering strategy and due diligence before investment to value creation and portfolio management post-acquisition.

PIT (Private Equity Innovation Team) is a specialized division focused on supporting the private equity sector and its stakeholders. A key initiative involves leveraging Generative AI to create innovative solutions for streamlining due diligence, automating processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making. By combining expertise in due diligence, operational enhancement, and advanced technologies like Generative AI, PIT empowers private equity clients to achieve superior returns and maintain a competitive advantage.

What You'll Do

• Join BCN Data Business in expanding its science capability area. This role is part of the PIT (Private Equity Innovation Team).
• Provide Product Support: Primarily support the beta production of AI applications for PEG (Private Equity Group) as part of Bain’s DD2030 (Due Diligence 2030) initiative.
• Generative AI Focus: A significant part of the work will involve Generative AI applications, driving innovation in the private equity domain.
• Broader Automation: Contribute to overall PIT automation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and streamlining processes across various stages of the investment lifecycle.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications using complex code across a robust technology stack.
  • Build, test, install, and maintain databases and backends for software products.
  • Participate in planning for acceptance testing and implementation of new software, providing support to ensure successful customer adoption.
  • Develop secure and high-performance services and APIs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, including open-source frameworks, libraries, and tools.
  • Ensure code maintainability and quality.
