Role Overview: Associate Cyber Security Analyst (Entry Level)

We are seeking a passionate Associate Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team in Bangalore. This role focuses on next-generation SaaS applications on our Hybrid Cloud platform, offering a chance to solve real business problems through innovation and engineering excellence. You will apply your knowledge to all facets of cybersecurity, including penetration testing, and possess a strong desire to learn new technologies and develop innovative solutions for our growing business.

This position is ideal for freshers or individuals with 1-2 years of experience, providing a significant opportunity for professional growth and contribution to our organization's security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Vulnerability Assessment:

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments on systems and networks.
• Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities based on associated risk levels.

Penetration Testing:

• Perform penetration testing on web applications, networks, and systems.
• Employ ethical hacking techniques to simulate real-world cyber-attacks. (Freshers with strong penetration testing knowledge are also encouraged to apply).

Documentation:

• Document all findings, procedures, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop detailed reports outlining assessment results and proposed solutions.

Security Best Practices:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Skill Enhancement:

• Gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity fundamentals, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
• Collaborate with senior team members to refine skills and knowledge through real-world security scenarios.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated foundational knowledge in the cybersecurity domain.
• A strong understanding of core cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proficiency with common penetration testing tools and techniques (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap). Bug bounty experience is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies. For candidates with 1-2 years of experience, familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and standards like NIST and ISO 27001 is expected.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential.
• Fresh graduates specializing in cybersecurity are welcome to apply.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
