The Opportunity
EY is seeking an Analyst / Associate Consultant for its Risk Advisory team to engage in various Cyber Transformation projects globally. A key aspect of this role involves delivering high-quality work products in accordance with firm guidelines. You will be expected to actively build and maintain strong relationships with team members, report any identified engagement risks, and communicate issues and updates to senior management.
Your Key Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:
- Engage in Cyber Transformation projects, focusing on the execution of deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on project progress.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and schedules for clients and other stakeholders.
- Apply an application and solution-based approach to problem-solving.
- Review working papers and client folders. Propose ideas for enhancing engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improved client service.
- Manage engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collateral, business proposals, and new solution/methodology development.
- Be prepared to travel to client locations as needed.
People Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and drive a culture of quality within the Global Talent Hub (GTH).
- Participate in people-related initiatives.
- Adhere to workplace policies and procedures.
- Foster teamwork by supporting colleagues.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI layer concepts and protocols, networking, and security concepts.
- Understanding of OS (Windows / Linux) security and Database security.
- Familiarity with cyber/information security concepts, risk, and controls.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as switches, routers, firewalls, IDS, and IPS.
- Comprehension of system architectures.
- Awareness of cyber threats and vulnerabilities related to platforms and infrastructure is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of encryption.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001/2, ISO 22301, ISO 27018, PCI-DSS, NIST standards on Cyber Security, and HITRUST is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as Nessus, Backtrack, NMAP, and BurpSuite is highly desirable.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:
- Graduates with a BE/B. Tech, MCA, M. Sc. (Stats, Maths, Computer Science), or MBA degree, possessing a background in computer science and programming, with 0 to 4 years of experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and Lead Implementer are beneficial.

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High levels of flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Comfort in interacting with senior executives, both within the firm and at client organizations.
- Robust leadership skills and supervisory capabilities.
